I get the feeling we're going to need a parallel economy soon, sooo... THANK YOU!

Sounds like a very interesting enterprise with lots of freedom and opportunity - thank you.

Mostly interested in the secure coms. We'll see how that works.

Sounds lovely & I'll look into it. How do I know it's not a front for the NSA or GCHQ inviting a hundred flowers to bloom?

I can vouch that it’s not. It’s a DAO set up.

I have the same question ... where is truth?

Why have I become suspicious about everything? 🤯🤪🤔. Thanks anyway.

The globalist monopoly capitalist dream. No taxes paid to any nation.

I bet Hunter Biden would have liked it too.

Hunter pays taxes?

He allegedly got a sweetheart deal from the legal system for his crimes. Some get sweetheart deals... The law is equal for everyone, but some are more equal than others...

They're planning on holding it in a taxable etf, just like other exchange traded funds. They control the private keys, but the trust makes money charging a fee which is transparent and taxable like any other. My point was that by controlling potentially billions in bitcoin they would essentially solve the governments issues of taxing and tracking it, and if the FED ever wants to ban it, Blackrock could facilitate that and force customers to take a cash value and then shut it down.

Jessica, I applaud your research efforts exposing the fraud around the jab and sympathize with your libertarian sentiment to create an underground economy, off the radar screens of Big Brother (see The Network State by Balaji Srinivasan). However, I suspect that you have a lot to learn about blockchain. Account or state based blockchains such as Orbital (and Ethereum, Solana, and their stepchildren) have fundamental scaling problems that become apparent whenever serious demands are placed on the network (e.g. ETH crash caused by Crypto Kitties mania). This defect is not shared by cash based blockchains such as Bitcoin (which are based upon fundamentally parallel UTXO architecture). Most are unaware that Satoshi’s original protocol also included a programming script that enables the implementation of smart contracts (ETH Solidity programs can be simulated on Bitcoin). For further reading, check out white papers available on the internet from blockchain venture capital fund, Unbounded Capital, where I am an LP investor.

Thanks, I was gonna write something similar. I always cringe a little when I see someone with a good mind who I respect start advertising for some new blockchain I've never heard of - when they've never explored the topic of decentralized cryptographic ledgers in depth publicly before.

If we want autonomy and privacy we're better off with something higher up the market cap ranking that has a lot more security.

Also re: utxo, Cardano is another chain using that accounting method and with a strong culture of decentralization and resisting corporate influence.

All transactions saved in a blockchain? Not so secret.

Hardware and operating systems have backdoors. Do NOT believe anything digital is secret!

After reading Dr Ana Maria Mihalcea's substack, I wonder if even my own thoughts, about killing off the power elite slowly in order to scare future psychopaths from hurting our children, are secret anymore...

So God, the higher awareness, had my thoughts all the time before, but now Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab and Yuval Noah Harari might have them too...

When they flip the switch, from read to write, nobody knows, but I imagine that could end in a Zombie apocalypse, and that is why I decide to walk with Yehoshua [Jesus] and seriously consider well protected ecological farming far away from cities and antennas.

I am still not willing to give up cash. The government in all its insanity could outlaw these types of systems. If government ever gets its CBDCs, everything else will be outlawed including cryptos, blockchain, gold and silver and all other forms of money or exchange.

I'm not a techie, but I believe that ANY digital currency can be herded and corralled for nefarious reasons. And, if one particular digital currency seems safe in this moment, give it time. I believe we need to stick with cash. It's tangible, and will always be. Anything digital is suspect.

How is Orbital comparing with other blockchains? What is the innovation brought by Orbital?

The description is very superficial and generic.
